EDP is a charity and a significant provider of services in the South West of England, delivering recovery-based substance misuse services in communities and prisons. Our work focuses on offering individually tailored support and opportunities in a wide range of areas encouraging those that we work with to realise the goals and aspirations they have for the future.
Today as a dynamic social enterprise we continue to work explore new ways of engaging people in positive change. Most recently EDP has become the first organisation in the UK to deliver the Social Enterprise Qualification in its prison substance misuse services.

|Short description:||EDP works with people across Devon and in Dorset who have, or are affected by, drug and alcohol problems, both in the community and in prisons, and especially by means of early intervention (with those already using drugs). Its mission is ‘to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse and social exclusion through work with individuals, families and communities'. It is committed to creatively developing free, accessible and confidential services that help to rehabiliate drug users and re-integrate them into the community, while also raising funds for its activities through various events.|
